Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your FestivPetAI account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app. This page explains how.

How to Delete Your Account In-App

  1. Open the FestivPetAI app and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Tap the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Under the Account section, tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your user profile (name, email, photo URL) from Firebase Firestore;
  • Your Firebase Authentication record — you will be fully signed out;
  • All community creations you shared (AI-generated images and original pet photo insets removed from Firebase Storage and hidden from the Community feed);
  • All locally stored creations from the SQLite database and local app files on your device.

After deletion the App automatically restores an anonymous browsing session so you can continue exploring the app without an account.

Data Retained After Deletion

Aggregate, non-identifiable analytics data (such as festival popularity counts) may be retained in anonymised form. No personally identifiable information is retained after account deletion.

Can't Access the App? Contact Us

If you are unable to delete your account from within the app, email us at support@festivpetai.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
